Forum searches.

Is there a way of searching the new style forum for topics of interest as there was in the old style one?
I can't see how to do it.
This was a very useful way of finding other peoples thoughts and experience on the forum quickly and efficiently and now its all changed and been upgraded it doesn't seem to be as easy to use.
When seaching for info on wheels for example, it was possible to type in 'wheels' and see all entries with that word in, so accessing many possible answers to queries.
Now to find anything you have to scroll down an increasingly long list of topics and hope to find one which may be the subject you need, which takes ages.
Also, peoples replies are not set out in a list and have to be individually opened which is a bit of a chore frankly.
Sorry if i am being dense here but if ayone knows how to do this to make the site as easy as it was before to use, i would be grateful if they could let me know.
